Have you got some clothing with holes and rips that needs to be fixed?! Come along to this month's Sip + Sew to learn some repair and mending skills. We will first go around as a group, wine in hand, to diagnose everyone's items. Then, come up with solutions and learn the technique for repairing each item. note: everyone repairs their own item but will be shown the techniques for all the other repairs. 

Sip + Sew workshops is a monthly event where we can kick back after a long day, enjoy some wine and do some sewing!

In this workshop, 

We will be doing some mending. You get to:

1. Have a glass of wine or two

2. Learn various ways of repairing a rip or hole

3. Use a sewing machine

What to bring to the workshop:

- 1 or 2 items for repair

- Thread and fabric patch (for large holes matching your item's colour. The regular all-purpose thread will work for patching and machine darning. If you are planning to have visible mend, bring along hand embroidery thread.  ( We have basic colours in the studio but if your item is in a distinctive colour, then please bring along matching thread)

- Sewing toolkit if you have one (optional)

- Dinner or snacks (We have a kitchenette here)
