Workshop Description

KIDS School Holiday Programme (10yrs - 12yrs) Cost: $120 Duration: Wednesday 9 Sept 9:30am - 3pm Project: tote bag Has your tween been showing signs of creativity and loves creating things? It sounds like maybe it's time to introduce a new skill that will help them express their creativity. Let's get them sewing! In this holiday program, we will be teaching the kids how to use a sewing machine, design their own tote bag, upcycle 2nd hand clothing for material, and make their own tote bag. Schedule: 1. Getting to know the sewing machine 2. Design their own tote 3. Explore and play with materials to make the tote out of <<Lunch>> 4. Cut fabric 5. Sew This course is suitable for all kids between 10 and 12 yrs old with no prior experience, but also good for our returning students who want to get creating again!
